Description: Inflammation of the eye (pink eye), often caused by bacteria (Moraxella) or secondary to irritation.

Symptoms: Excessive tearing, eye cloudiness, redness, and aversion to light (photophobia).

Seasonality: Common during the dusty dry season (Harmattan), causing irritation, and in the early rainy season.

A small, fast-growing tree known for its edible leaves and pods. It is highly drought-resistant and found in arid areas, blooming sporadically.
